What to Say to Get Your Ex Back

There are things that you need to say to your ex to get them back.  One of those things is not "please take me back."  This will not go over well, trust me.  If you want to get your ex back you need to watch what you are saying and more importantly how you are saying it.  The first step though is meaning what you are saying and being absolutely sincere about it.  I am sorry if I hurt you.

If there was something that you did to hurt your ex and never even apologized for it, my best piece of advice would be to do so immediately.  If your ex thinks that you hurt them and feel no remorse over it, it could make things worse for you.  Just admit to what ever you did wrong and apologize for it.

I respect your feelings.

Respect is a huge factor in getting your ex back.  If you don't even respect their decision and cross all boundaries by calling, emailing and showing up unannounced then that is a blatant sign to your ex that you do not even care about how they feel.  Respect them and the decision that they made to break up.  Let them know that you will abide by it and let them know that you are okay with it.

Don't be immature and selfish about the break up.  Being that way only leads your ex to believe all of the things they thought about you.  Prove them wrong and be the bigger person.  Wish them the best in whatever happens.   Let them know that you want only good things and happiness for them.

There are things that you should not say and there are things that you should say.  These are just a few of the things that you need to say to your ex if you plan on getting them back.  Saying the opposite could be detrimental to your efforts.  Your ex knows you pretty well and if you are being insincere they will know.  Realize first what it is that you want, mean what you say and be prepared for what ever the outcomes are.  Remember that how you say something is just as important as what you say.  Your body language and actions will give you away if you are being insincere.  Actions speak louder than words when you want to get your ex back, so be sure that yours are saying all of the right things.
